In 2010, Kent Stainless worked closely with Gatic and Frost Landscapes to deliver manholes and slot drainage to Merchants Square which is the final section of the Paddington Basin redevelopment in London.  The major requirement for this prestigious public realm development  was for the manhole covers to fit in seamlessly with the surrounding stone paving pattern. Here, we supplied our Kent Solo Paver manholes and Kent Multi Paver manholes in various sizes and dimensions. Standard manhole sizes were modified, only by millimetres in some cases,  to meet the requirement of matching the stone paving. The manholes supplied were to give access to sump outlets,  access points and various utilities. They were designed to class FACTA AAA loading, as the loading requirement  was for pedestrian traffic with occasional maintenance and cleaning traffic.  We are currently working on Phase 3 of this development along with Gatic and Frost Landscapes.
